Zita da Silva Zita da Silva is an Indian author, columnist and educationist. She is the author of the book Forever His: How a Man's Heart Can Lead Us To The Goodness: Stories of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar's Love Brigade. She has written for various newspapers, journals and magazines across South India including "The Hindu" and "India Today". Zita writes extensively on spirituality, religion and culture. She is also involved in teaching creative writing to third grade students at St Joseph’s Girls Higher Primary School in Koyambedu, Chennai. She also writes on culture, travel and education for online publications like India Currents, Mainstream Weekly, DNA Lounge, The Hindu's special edition on the 100-year anniversary of Sri Aurobindo and Pondicherry, Deccan Herald (The Spirit section), New Indian Express (Sunday Companion), Progressive World (Spirituality section) and Beart Magazine. She is also involved with an NGO called "Friends Without Borders" that helps students of various schools in Chennai with their education expenses. She has travelled extensively across the country and abroad. She has lived in Mumbai for 14 years before moving to Chennai to pursue her education.
